The Associated Press preseason college football poll was released Sunday afternoon, and four Big Ten teams are ranked. Ohio State and Michigan State are both ranked in the Top 10, as the Buckeyes appear at No. 5, while the Spartans are ranked No. 8. Wisconsin (No. 14) and Nebraska (No. 22) also are ranked.
BTN analyst Gerry DiNardo challenged Bo Pelini to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and the Nebraska football coach wasted no time accepting the challenge. “Let’s get it over with,” Pelini said after mentioning that he’d been challenged. Before getting drenched, Pelini sent challenges out to former Nebraska star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska fan Larry The Cable Guy and, of course, @FauxPelini.

Well, bestcollegereviews.org posted a popular list ranking the best college towns that made its way around social media Thursday, and the Big Ten was all over it. In fact, the Big Ten owned two of the top three towns: Ann Arbor (No. 2) and Madison (No. 3).
