Don’t tell the Nebraska baseball team that Halloween is still a week-plus away. Decked out in Halloween costumes, the Cornhuskers closed out their annual Red-White Series on Tuesday. Like it matters, the Red Team won the game, 5-4, on a walk-off bases-loaded single to claim the series victory. To more important and interesting matters, what costumes did the players wear? Video: Alex Gordon leads 'Go Big Red' chant

Former Nebraska baseball star Alex Gordon smacked a home run Saturday on Nebraska Night at Kaufman Stadium, and to celebrate he led the red-clad Royals fans in a “Go Big Red” chant during his postgame on-field interview. Nebraska's baseball season ends with 4-3 loss

Nebraska’s 2014 baseball season came to a close on Sunday with a 4-3 loss to Cal State Fullerton in a NCAA Regional game. The Huskers finished this season with a final record of 41-21. With the loss, Indiana is the only Big Ten team remaining in the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers are currently taking on Stanford with a chance to advance to the Super Regionals. Indiana wins again, Nebraska rallies to stave off elimination

Day 2 of NCAA regional baseball action Saturday saw Indiana down Stanford, 4-2, and Nebraska rally in the ninth inning to beat Binghamton, 8-6, in an elimination game. B1G baseball tournament breaks attendance record

Big Ten baseball fans came from all over to watch Sunday’s conference championship matchup between top-seeded Indiana and second-seeded Nebraska. The stands were packed as 19,965 fans filled up TD Ameritrade Park, which ranks as the largest single-game conference tournament attendance in NCAA history. Sunday’s final attendance numbers brings the five-day total to a Big Ten Tournament record 62,020. Four days of the tournament (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) featured attendance of more than 10,000 people. The previous NCAA record for conference tournament attendance was established by Florida State and North Carolina in 2005 with a crowd of 17,860. Part
