Exhibition Week is an exciting time for the basketball enthusiast around the country. While it is simply the week before the start of the official season, it is the first time you get to see your favorite team in action against someone other than themselves. The Big Ten men’s basketball exhibition season continues this week, and BTN Plus is the place to catch all 11 exhibitions. [ MORE: Six Big Ten teams ranked in preseason AP Poll | Follow @BTNJonCrispin! ] Indiana hosts Ottawa at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday to open the week’s festivities, which will feature six ranked teams in action, including No. 3 Maryland (7:30 p.m. ET Friday vs. Southern New Hampshire). All of this week’s games require a subscription to BTN Plus. Beginning Nov. 13, a number of regular season non-conference Big Ten men’s games will also be available via BTN Plus
I can’t speak for any trick-or-treaters, but Goldy the Gopher sure followed Jim Harbaugh’s tip for children to get the most candy on Halloween. [ MORE: Like Halloween? Check out these Big Ten football costumes ] “I advised them to get two costumes, to be go-getters,” Harbaugh said last week. “You can hit the neighborhood in one costume — and better to jog and run from house to house, then you can get more candy than anybody else. Time to take the Big Ten’s bowl temperature. That means checking in with the great Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com. No changes at the top, but Illinois and Nebraska have fallen from Palm’s projections. That drops the Big Ten’s projected bowl teams from 10 to eight.
It’s all about the holy trinity of Ohio State, Michigan State and Iowa, which replaces Michigan, in my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal.

With top dogs Ohio State and Michigan State off, the weekend lacked big stakes. But Iowa stayed perfect, and Michigan won a game it should have probably lost after losing a game it probably should have won the last time out.
