Five Big Ten women’s hoops teams play their opening games of the 2016 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Friday and Saturday. Click the matchups in this post to go to the live game center pages for each game. On Friday, No. 4 seed Michigan State plays No. 13 Belmont at noon ET on ESPN2 followed No. 3 seed Ohio State playing No. 14 seed Buffalo at 2:30 p.m., also on ESPN2. Penn State, Northwestern advance in Big Ten women's tourney

In the opening games of the 2016 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, No. 12 Northwestern edged No. 13 Wisconsin, 76-72, in overtime, and No. 11 Penn State held off No. 14 Illinois, 75-66. Northwestern faces No. 5 Minnesota on Thursday, while Penn State moves on to play No. 6 Purdue. Get set for four more games on Thursday, and all games are available on BTN2Go.
