Freshman Nick Stauskas scored 22 points in his first start and No. 3 Michigan survived a late run to beat Bradley 74-66 on Saturday. Stauskas started for Matt Vogrich and delivered early with eight first-half points to help the Wolverines (7-0) hold onto a narrow halftime lead, 34-30.
Attorney Marissa Pollick is one of Michigan’s first female varsity letter winners and scholarship athletes, and she now works as a legal consultant for Title IX compliance in collegiate sports. Pollick grew up playing tennis against boys before she started playing for Michigan from 1974, just one year after the team was elevated to varsity status.

All in all, it was quite a good first night for the Big Ten in its Challenge with the ACC. Let’s take a quick look at the results.
Seven Big Ten teams are headed to the postseason, tied for the most of any conference in the country. Three teams will host first and second round play this weekend including the number one overall seed, the Penn State Nittany Lions.
