What should the Wolverines wear with their move to Jordan brand?

This past summer, the University of Michigan announced that it had reached an agreement with Jordan Brand to become the Wolverines’ official athletic footwear, apparel and equipment provider for both the football and basketball programs. So, the question becomes, what will the Wolverines wear? Do they even make Jordan Brand shoes in maize and blue? The answer is yes, and they are sharp! I went through and tracked down the top pairs of Jordan shoes that the Wolverines should sport next season. Did I miss one? Tweet me, @BTNSean, and let me know what I missed. Jordan 11 – Maize

Crispin: Word association for departed Big Ten standouts

The Big Ten is losing some serious four-year talent. The list of names is nothing short of impressive, and it is, no doubt, headlined by Big Ten Player of the Year Denzel Valentine. You can create a strong bench, too, with the likes of Rapheal Davis, Jake Layman and Shavon Shields, among others. With all of the talent headed out the door, Lisa Byington asked me to play word association Tuesday night on “BTN Live.” Thing is,

BTN LiveBIG: Basketball bonanza!

The men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments just began, and we’ve already seen plenty of surprises. For the Big Ten, some of those have been pleasant (Indiana) and others not so much (Michigan State). But no matter how far the women’s and men’s basketball teams in the conference go in the tourney (and even if they didn’t make it this season), their supporters can take pride in how people associated with those programs perform off the court. NCAA Tournament recap: Michigan falls to Notre Dame

It looked like No. 11 Michigan was going to cruise to victory over No. 6 Notre Dame. The Wolverines looked dominant in the first half, taking a 41-29 lead with some sharpshooting and good transition offense. But the Irish stormed back in the second half, outscoring Michigan 41-22 to take a 70-63 decision. The Wolverines overcame a lot to get here, impressing in the Big Ten tourney with a win vs. No. 1 seed Indiana and then beating No. 11 Tulsa in a First Four game. A nice feat when you consider Michigan played most of the year with top
