The 2016 ESPY Awards took place Wednesday night in Los Angeles. The annual awards ceremony was filled with memorable moments, including a touching speech from TNT analyst Craig Sager, who was honored with this year’s Jimmy V award. Amanda Turturro scored the overtime winner Thursday as Rutgers beat Ohio State 11-10 to advance in the 2016 Big Ten Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. In the second quarterfinal, Northwestern dominated Michigan, 20-5. No. 4 Rutgers seed will take on No. 1 seed Maryland in the first of two semifinals games on Friday. The Wildcats will play against No. 2 seed Penn State. All of Friday’s games air live on BTN and online via BTN2Go. Full schedule with links below. Another great weekend of Big Ten Lacrosse is now in the books. The race to Baltimore and a spot in the Big Ten Tournament saw three teams punch their tickets to the party that starts May 5. Maryland, Rutgers and Johns Hopkins have all clinched a spot in the battle for the conference championship, but the fourth and final spot is up for grabs.
