The Big Ten announced the 36 players who will attend the 2013 Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon, presented by Allstate and BMW, July 24-25 at the Hilton Chicago. The 42nd annual luncheon features 19 returning All-Big Ten selections and all 12 head coaches. Penn State’s John Urschel will speak on behalf of the players in attendance.

Ohio State fan, 12, beats brain tumor 'Michigan'

Even the most ardent Michigan supporters can root for Ohio State fan Grant Reed. When Reed, now 12, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2011, he named it “Michigan.” The son of a mother and father who were both Ohio State band members, Reed recently beat the disease at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
