Top Big Ten matches showcased on 'Wrestling in 60' Monday nights

Tonight is the debut of “Wrestling in 60,” a one-hour show spotlighting the top dual wrestling matches from the past week across the Big Ten Conference. The first show airs at 8:30 p.m. ET tonight and several times again. “Wrestling in 60” will air on Monday nights. Find all available show times for “Wrestling in 60” on the show’s TV schedule page. How to watch the Midlands Championships live on TV & online

Both days of the 53rd Ken Kraft Midlands Championships at Northwestern will be available live and for free beginning Tuesday morning and running through Wednesday night. In this post, learn how to watch two days of non-stop wrestling competition live featuring many of the nation’s top-ranked wrestling teams and individuals on BTN and BTN2Go. Tuesday’s first session starts at 10:30 a.m. ET, and the second sessions begin at 8 p.m. Here’s one link to the page for all eight mat cameras on Tuesday. If you look at the NCAA Division I rankings for any collegiate sport, chances are you’re going to see multiple Big Ten universities in the mix. They’re also well-represented in another ranking: the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-American awards. The list, which came out earlier this month, measures student-athletes across all sports, as of June 2015. BTN Announces 2015-16 Wrestling Coverage

With the Big Ten seeking its 10th consecutive wrestling national championship, BTN’s 2015-16 wrestling coverage, presented by returning sponsor Cliff Keen Athletic, will take fans along for the ride with some of the most noteworthy matchups of the season. The schedule includes the Midlands Championships hosted by Northwestern; a key matchup between Ohio State and Penn State, winners of the past five national championships; the NWCA National Duals; and coverage of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships in Iowa City. Michigan State men’s basketball coach Tom Izzo has seen more than his share of clutch performances and high-pressure situations. But even in his biggest games, there have been breaks in the action. In real emergencies, there are no timeouts, no commercials. That lesson — along with several others — was driven home for Izzo and other MSU coaches during a rather unusual team-building exercise at an annual Athletics Department retreat in early June. Big Ten announces Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners

The Big Ten announced on Wednesday the 28 honorees named Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners for the 2014-15 academic year. These standouts were chosen from a group of more than 350 students honored throughout the academic year who had displayed positive sportsmanship. One member of each varsity sports team on every campus was chosen by his or her institution as a Sportsmanship Award honoree, and two Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners were then selected from each institution.
