There was a technical foul called late in Illinois’ 59-54 victory at Michigan State that drew plenty of attention.
Last weekend had m ore heated rivalries as Wisconsin faced Minnesota and Michigan State took on Michigan at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena. Michigan State managed to snap Michigan’s seven-game win streak last Friday night, and the teams meet again Saturday in the Hockey City Classic at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
If you can believe it, Duke already has started spring football practice in preparation for the 2015 college football season. The Big Ten won’t break out the pads until March. When it does, the work will begin on replacing some star players.
