On Saturday afternoon, though, it was a not-so-rare Denzel Valentine mix-up on an NCAA tourney transcript that received plenty of attention on social media. Valentine, as he has been multiple times throughout his Michigan State career, is referred to as “Denzel Washington” at least once on the transcript from the Spartans’ East Region final press conference. Understandable mistake.
