The Big Ten went 4-2 in the second night of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, which led to a 6-6 tie between the two power conferences. No. 1-ranked Michigan State fell to North Carolina, 79-65, while Ohio State, Wisconsin, Purdue and Nebraska all had impressive victories Wednesday night.
Before the NCAA banned on-court stickers, Tom Izzo and several of his fellow coaches made it known they weren’t fans of them. It’s not because the stickers resulted in an eye-sore, but because they were a slipping hazard and caused injury.

BTN had a tripleheader of Big Ten hoops action today, featuring three conference contenders. Michigan State cruised by Mount St. Mary’s, 98-65 in the first game of the day. No. 20 Michigan coasted past Coppin State, 87-45, and No. 6 Ohio State walloped North Florida, 99-64.
