No. 4 Iowa outscored No. 3 Minnesota, 41-33, in match points to defeat the Gophers, 16-15, Saturday at Williams Arena. The two teams were tied at 15 after splitting the first 10 bouts, but the Hawkeyes earned the deciding team point based on the advantage in match points — the third tiebreak criteria.

Friday night was a busy night on the wrestling mat for teams across the conference. Penn State’s Quentin Wright got his 100th career win as the top-ranked Nittany Lions scored a big 36-6 win over Wisconsin to stay unbeaten on the year. In other action, Iowa topped Michigan 33-10.
