Iowa took home a victory, 86-55 over Texas-Pan American on Friday. Aaron White helped spark Iowa (1-0), with 16 points and 6-of-9 shooting from the field. A 17-2 run led the Hawkeyes to an early 15-point lead. White knocked down a field goal that capped off the run by the Hawkeyes and helped Iowa lead 45-24 at the half.

On tonight’s episode of “The Journey 2012″ presented by Best Buy at 7:30 p.m. ET, our crew continues to chronicle the Big Ten football season while telling the stories of Iowa linebacker Anthony Hitchens, Illinois cornerback Terry Hawthorne, and Minnesota’s Connor Cosgrove, who is battling leukemia.
Three Big Ten teams made the field of 16 for the 2012 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship tournament. Penn State won the Big Ten’s automatic spot and is the NCAA tournament’s No. 4 overall seed. Iowa and Michigan were chosen as at-large teams.
Before we turn our attention to Week 11, we need to review how BTN.com fans, Tom Dienhart and yours truly did with our Week 10 predictions. Believe it or not, we all went a perfect 5-0 in a week that, to be honest, wasn’t littered with many tough games. So, we’ll enter Week 11 with BTN.com fans and Dienhart tied for the top spot.
