This is it, the last week of Big Ten action. And, that means one thing: Expect the unexpected. As for the title chase, there isn’t much drama left, as Michigan already has wrapped up at least a share of the championship. Other schools are looking to enhance their NCAA resumes. One story line to watch: Who will finish fourth, thus earning a first-round bye in the Big Ten tourney? Iowa and Nebraska are tied with a 9-7 mark, while Ohio State is 9-8. Big Ten Geeks: It's a thin line this year

Michigan clinched at least a share of the Big Ten title this weekend, as it took care of business against Minnesota at home while Michigan State was upset by Illinois in East Lansing. Michigan mostly let Minnesota hang around until the last couple of minutes until it flipped the #WinTheGame switch. For once, Michigan’s defense showed up, as it held the opponent to under a point per possession for the first time since the first week of February. Nik Stauskas, Caris LeVert, and Glenn Robinson III once again powered the offense, combining for 46 points on 36 shots. For Minnesota,

Survey: Which Big Ten coach 'works' the refs the best?

“Working” officials is an art form. Some coaches are masters at knowing just the right buttons to push over the course of a game to the point where—Who knows?—maybe they can get a key call in their favor. I asked several media members who cover the Big Ten which coach they felt was best at “working” officials. [ MORE: Review and Preview: Michigan fixes eyes on a Big Ten title ] Jeff Washburn, Boiler Sports Report/Scout.com: Bo Ryan is the most demonstrative and theatrical, but Tom Izzo seems to produce results that would make Perry Mason smile. Big Ten Geeks: Senior Day Already?

Penn State celebrated an early senior night (the Nittany Lions still have another home game remaining, but I guess they didn’t like their chances against Wisconsin) by rallying from an 11-point first half deficit to take down Ohio State. PSU got a big game out of junior guard D.J. Newbill (23 points, 9 shots), who had a better game than LaQuinton Ross (19 points, 12 shots). I mention those two because, outside of them, there was not a lot of offense. Tim Frazier had 16 points, but it took 12 shots to get there and it came with 6 turnovers.
