Big Ten Geeks: Wolverines on Top

Saturday night brought a clash of the only two remaining conference unbeatens when Michigan traveled west to take on State in East Lansing. The Spartans were down their frontcourt, as Branden Dawson’s hand lost a bout with a table earlier in the week, and Adreian Payne was still a week or two away. But would it have mattered? But Michigan diced up the Spartans’ defense in ways that I’m not sure Dawson or Payne could have helped with. Notably, the Wolverines scorched

Who is the B1G's most underrated player?

The weekend is officially here. So that means it’s time for my weekly survey of seven Big Ten hoops writers. This week’s question: Who is the Big Ten’s most underrated player? Check out the responses. No consensus, but some interesting responses. Big Ten Geeks: Is Nik Stauskas the Big Ten POY?

Michigan’s offense continued its surge into the nation’s elite in an impressive win over Iowa. In true Beilein-ball fashion, it was a high conversion rate on twos and a low turnover rate that propelled the Wolverines. Debate It: Who is the best team in the Big Ten?

The Big Ten basketball season is approaching the midway point and the conference picture is beginning to take form. Michigan (5-0) and Michigan State (7-0) are the only remaining unbeaten teams in the Big Ten, while Iowa is close behind at 4-1 and climbing up the national rankings.
