Throwback Thursday Q&A: Iowa's Jeff Horner

Jeff Horner had a fantastic four-year career at Iowa. From 2002-06, Horner started 122 games and was a stat-sheet stuffing point guard who averaged 12.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1 3-pointers. He finished his career as Iowa’s all-time leader in 3-pointers (262) and assists (612). He also helped guide the Hawkeyes to their last two NCAA tournaments, in 2005 and 2006. Nowadays, following a pro career overseas and a stint with the Iowa Energy, Horner is the head coach at Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. Read’s full email Q&A with Horner in

Austin Hollins led the way with 27 points on 10 shots, but I think the best indication of how
