Ohio State won three event titles at the 2016 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships.
BTN will televise seven winter Big Ten Championships, including wrestling, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and men’s and women’s gymnastics and the entire Big Ten Hockey Tournament in 2016. Coverage begins with the Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships from Michigan on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. ET, while the Big Ten Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships will air at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 29, from Purdue. The Michigan men’s gymnastics team captured the 2014 Big Ten Championship Friday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The title marks the Wolverines’ second consecutive crown and 17th overall. Michigan totaled a team score of 448.200 points, followed by second-place Ohio State (441.050) and third-place Penn State (438.000). Illinois finished fourth (435.350), Minnesota placed fifth (429.150), Nebraska came in sixth (428.150) and Iowa rounded out the team standings with 425.600 points. The second day of the 2012 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships saw individual event winners crowned and All-Conference teams and award winners announced on Saturday night. Four schools won event titles, including two each for both Illinois and Michigan. Paul Ruggeri won both individual event championships for the Illini, while Sam Mikulak took home two titles for the Wolverines. Iowa hosted the 2012 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships Friday which featured the team and all-around competitions. Illinois won their fourth straight Big Ten title and freshman CJ Maestas took home the all-around crown in Friday’s session. All eight Big Ten women’s gymnastics teams have been chosen among the 36-team field to compete at NCAA Regionals on April 7, the selection committee announced on Monday. The Big Ten will be represented at five of the six regional sites. Nebraska received the top seed in the Salt Lake City Regional after earning its first Big Ten Championship. The Huskers are joined in Salt Lake City by No. 3 seed Minnesota, along with host and No. 2 seed Utah, No. 4 Iowa State, No. 5 Arizona State and No. 6 San Jose State. The regional is set to begin
