Indiana tabs Teri Moren as women's hoops coach

Fred Glass announced the hiring of Seymour, Ind., native Teri Moren as head coach of the IU women’s basketball program, the school announced in a press release Saturday. Moren still holds records at Seymour High School, was an Indiana All Star, a four-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Purdue under women’s basketball hall of famer Lin Dunn and is a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Indiana's Curt Miller resigns due to health reasons

Indiana announced Friday that it has accepted the resignation of women’s basketball coach Curt Miller due to “personal health and family reasons.” According to the school, while Miller is stepping down as head coach effective immediately, he will take until the end of the month to fully transition out of the University. The annual challenge, which will run Dec. 3-4, is in its eighth edition and will feature 14 games for the first time. Who made 2014 All-Big Ten Women's Basketball Teams?

The Big Ten Conference announced the All-Big Ten Women’s Basketball Teams and individual award winners on Monday. Nebraska’s Jordan Hooper and Connie Yori were named Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Coach of the Year, respectively, by the coaches, while Penn State’s Maggie Lucas and Coquese Washington earned the honors from the media. Other individual award winners include: Penn State’s Dara Taylor collected Defensive Player of the Year, Purdue’s Whitney Bays was tabbed Sixth Player of the Year, and Minnesota’s Amanda Zahui B. was honored with the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award by the coaches
