This looked like it would be the season Indiana finally ended a bowl drought that stretched to the 2007 season. There were eight home games, with the first five at home. And there was loads of veteran talent on offense and promising youngsters on defense for a program that was maturing in its third year under ultra-intense Kevin Wilson.

Big Ten play is just around the corner, and that is great news. It’s going to be another fantastic Big Ten conference season. I promise. Anyway, it’s time for my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. This week, Minnesota is a huge riser, while Indiana is a significant dropper.
With the year quickly coming to a close, I decided to take a look at the new basketball and football uniform designs that debuted in 2013. Don’t worry, 2014 is certain to include just as many, if not more, new designs. Actually, I’m not so sure that’s a good thing. Either way, enjoy the look back.

This was a big weekend for the middle of the Big Ten. So far this season, there have been two teams that clearly look a cut above the rest—Ohio State and Wisconsin—and then there are a lot of teams that haven’t hit their upside. Many of those teams were tested this weekend, and every one of them failed.
