Football season is drawing nearer, and that means it's time for BTN.com's annual Big Ten football uniform poll. This year's No. 1? It's Michigan, one year after rival Ohio State staked claim to the top spot.
Every school needs them. They are breakout players. They may come out of nowhere to become key contributors this fall. Or, expectations may be big for these “breakout” players.
It’s July, and hopes run high across the fruited plain of the Big Ten. The possibilities seem endless from Lincoln to Piscataway. Now is the time to dream big.
Our friends over at Collegespun.com recently released an article of the 10 best Ohio State cakes on Pinterest. There are a number of creative cakes featured in the post, ranging from birthdays to weddings to baby showers. This got me thinking: If Ohio State has so many creative cake designs on Pinterest, every Big Ten school probably has some type of extravagant food creations on the popular social media platform. At 8 p.m. ET on BTN/BTN2Go, we’re airing Indiana’s 44-24 victory over Penn State in the 2013 Big Ten regular season. This game will be remembered as one of the top victories for Indiana’s football program in recent memory, as it marked the first win for the Hoosiers over Penn State. Nate Sudfeld completed 23-of-38 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns to lead Indiana to a memorable win that snapped a 16-game losing streak in the series. Perhaps even more impressive is that this victory marked the Hoosiers’ first win in a Big Ten opener since the 2000 season.
