Illinois shut out top-seeded Penn State 1-0 in Friday’s first semifinal of the 2012 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament, then Ohio State edged Michigan 2-1 in the second game on BTN/BTN2Go. Friday’s semifinals in the 2012 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament are set and both games will air on BTN/BTN2Go. Vanessa Dibernardo’s second career hat trick proved to be enough as the Fighting Illini earned their seventh victory of the season by defeating the Spartans 3-2.
