Joe Harris scored 22 points to lead Virginia to a 60-54 win over Wisconsin on Wednesday at the Kohl Center in Madison. Akil Mitchell was 4 of 7 from the floor and chipped in 13 points for Virginia (5-2). The Cavaliers also got a solid contribution from Darion Atkins, who scored 12. Ben Brust scored 15 points for Wisconsin (4-3) in the game.
Indiana women’s soccer head coach Mick Lyon announced he is retiring as the head coach of the women’s soccer program. Act Two of the Big Ten title game is almost upon us, but it will be difficult to top last year’s 42-39 sprint that Wisconsin won over Michigan State. Still, Wisconsin and Nebraska will try.
