Let me confess something before I start: I’m 5-foot-11, and I’ve never dunked. With that out of the way, it’s easy to understand why I’m such a big fan of the slam dunk. The number of high-flyers we currently have in the Big Ten doesn’t hurt matters, either, and it’s the reason I thought it would be fun to assemble the Big Ten’s Ultimate Dunker. Here goes.
It’s that time of the week, time to look at the mock brackets. And the Big Ten remains well-represented with seven teams in each of the mock brackets that I check each week. The only conference with more bids is the Big East, which has eight or nine tourney teams—depending on the bracket you check.
