An interesting rivalry week ends with Indiana riding atop the Big Ten. But Iowa and Maryland are just one-half game and one game off the pace, respectively. No. 1 Penn State claims 2016 NWCA Dual Meet Championship

No. 1 Penn State took care of No. 2 Oklahoma State, 29-18, on Sunday to win the 2016 NWCA National Dual Championship Series title in front of another sell-out crowd (6,575). The NWCA dual crown is Penn State’s third championship of the season, as it also won its sixth straight Southern Scuffle title in early January and claimed a share of the 2016 Big Ten Regular Season title with Iowa. The Nittany Lions end the regular season with a perfect 16-0 mark, including 9-0 in the Big Ten. The 16 dual meet victories are the most since Penn State won 17 in

Watch Rachel Banham set Big Ten all-time scoring record

Rachel Banham needed 50 points to become the Big Ten’s all-time leading scorer Sunday afternoon. The Minnesota star would have to wait until next week, right? Nope. Banham, she of the Big Ten women’s single-game record and NCAA-tying 60 points on Super Bowl Sunday, erupted for 52 points in Minnesota’s 114-106 loss at Michigan State. She set the record (2,921 points), appropriately, on a contested, deep 3-pointer in the closing seconds. Watch the record-setting triple in the video above. Banham wasn’t the only star in the Minnesota-Michigan State game, though. Michigan State’s Aerial Powers poured in a career-high 40 points

No. 6 Maryland holds off Michigan to snap two-game skid

BTN LiveBIG: OSU alum brings innovation, opportunity to Central Ohio

In 1962, Ken Coleman arrived at the campus of The Ohio State University with a big dream: to graduate and find a job as a math teacher. It might not seem all that audacious today, but this was the early 1960s, and Coleman was a young African-American man living in the town of Centralia in downstate Illinois. And neither his mother, a maid, nor his father, a day laborer, graduated high school. Still, none of those things kept Coleman from chasing his dreams — which, as it turned out, went well beyond becoming a math teacher. Because of his experience
