It’s been rumored for quite some time that Big Ten football teams will wear a “B1G” patch on their jerseys this fall. Thanks to a tweet from Illinois assistant Alex Golesh (@coachgolesh) — a tweet that has since been deleted — we have a better idea of what it will look like. Two Big Ten stars make SI.com's top 10 seniors

Indiana’s Jordan Hulls and Minnesota’s Trevor Mbakwe were listed on Andy Glockner’s 10 most important seniors for the 2012-13 season. Hulls, one of the nation’s elite shooters, is a career 47.4 percent from the field, while Mbakwe, who missed all but seven games last year due to a knee injury, owns 23 career double-doubles. Did You See This? Brust visits Kevin Harvick

Usually, it’s fans seeking out Ben Brust and getting all big-eyed in his presence. Recently, as part of an NCAA.com video feature, the tables turned for Brust, who got to meet Kevin Harvick, his favorite NASCAR driver. In the feature, Brust toured Harvick’s garage, which happens to include a basketball court, and the two played H-A-P-P-Y, their version of H-O-R-S-E. Watch the entertaining video here.

Heralded Michigan recruit burns Ohio State mail

Want to see Charles Woodson, Ron Dayne and Eddie George in their respective college jersey? There’s no need to check the upcoming Greatest Games schedule, because Michigan’s Desmond Howard, the 1991 Heisman winner, posted a couple WhoSay.com videos, featuring the aforementioned players, among others, in the same room. Six ex-Big Ten stars invited to NBA Combine

Wisconsin’s Jordan Taylor was a late addition to the NBA Combine, but he’ll join Illinois’ Meyers Leonard, Michigan State’s Draymond Green, Ohio State’s William Buford and Jared Sullinger and Purdue’s Robbie Hummel at the event June 6-8 in Chicago (see the full list of players). The combine is a great way for players to make last-minute improvements to their draft stock, and that’s exactly what these guys will try to do. The 2012 NBA Draft is June 28.

Crossroads Classic extended through 2014

The Crossroads Classic, a one-day event featuring a doubleheader between Butler, Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue’s men’s basketball teams, isn’t going anywhere. On Tuesday, athletic directors of the four schools agreed to a two-year extension to keep one of college basketball’s premier nonconference events at Bankers Life Fieldhouse through 2014.

Beilein's son named West Virginia Wesleyan coach

Patrick Beilein, the son of Michigan head coach John Beilein and a former Michigan graduate assistant (2008-10), has been named the head coach of West Virginia Wesleyan, according to pjstar.com. Beilein, 29, played for West Virginia under his father and was a member of the 2005 Elite Eight team.

Ex-Wolverine Juwan Howard confronts Indiana Pacer

Former Fab Five member Juwan Howard played a total of three minutes through the first three games of Miami’s Eastern Conference semifinal series against Indiana. The Wolverine product made his biggest contribution of the series prior to Game 4 on Sunday, when he confronted Indiana’s Lance Stephenson during shootaround. The two needed to be separated.
