BTN to Air 7 Winter Championships

For the fifth consecutive year, BTN will televise seven winter Big Ten Championships, including men’s and women’s swimming and diving, wrestling, men’s and women’s indoor track and field and men’s and women’s gymnastics. Every event will be produced in high definition, including live coverage of the entire Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships, the final rounds of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships and the final session of the Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics Championships.

For a fifth straight year, BTN will present the Big Ten Bowl Selection Special, with the 2011 edition at 8 p.m. ET Sunday night live from Chicago. Dave Revsine will host the show alongside Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith as they preview each Big Ten bowl matchup and discuss key post-season factors. Select coaches also will be interviewed during the 60-minute program.

BTN Signs 5 New Men's Basketball Analysts

As the Big Ten basketball season gets under way, BTN has added five new men’s basketball analysts, including former Ohio State and Maryland coach Gary Williams, former Illinois star Eddie Johnson, former Providence coach Keno Davis, veteran broadcaster Dan Bonner and long-time college basketball coach Dave Miller. Primarily, Williams will be a studio analyst while Johnson, Davis, Bonner and Miller will work games. In addition, Gus Johnson is on board for 30 BTN games this year.

(Big Ten Network) – CHICAGO and ENGLEWOOD, Colo., – (July 25, 2011) – DISH Network L.L.C. and the Big Ten Network (BTN) announced today that television coverage of Nebraska Cornhusker football games and other sports will soon be available to DISH Network customers.
