Tom Crean and Indiana spent a big portion of last season ranked No. 1 in the nation. As we all know, though, the Hoosiers lost a ton of talent, including Jordan Hulls, Victor Oladipo, Christian Watford and Cody Zeller.
They return Yogi Ferrell and Will Sheehey and also welcome a decorated incoming class, so the question needs to be asked: Should Indiana be ranked in the preseason polls?

While Round 1 of the Big Ten Helmet Bracket was all chalk, Round 2 featured a couple upsets, including this stunner: No. 4 Indiana over No. 1 Ohio State. Big Ten fans advanced the Hoosiers, in a 54%-46% decision, setting up a Leaders Division final of Indiana vs. No. 3 Penn State.

The struggles of the Michigan State offense last season are well-documented. Points were difficult to come by for an attack that lost five games by a total of 13 points. All the while, quarterback play came under scrutiny. Michigan State quarterbacks coach Brad Salem says the competition between Andrew Maxwell and Connor Cook is “pretty even.”

First-year coach Darrell Hazell has his work cut out for him, playing arguably the toughest schedule in the Big Ten. There is no more challenging non-conference schedule in the conference, with a trip to Big East co-champ Cincinnati and home games vs. Notre Dame (BCS title game) and Northern Illinois (Orange Bowl). Getting one Big Ten road victory may be a difficult proposition, too. Bottom line: A 1-6 start isn’t out of the question.

If any school other than Michigan put “Made in USA Not in Ohio” on its footballs, it would probably go ignored. But when Michigan does it, you better believe, people will talk about it. Michigan redshirt freshman Bo Dever tweeted the picture above of a football that includes the aforementioned phrase stamped on it.

Gary Andersen continues to win over Wisconsin fans. Today, the first-year football coach was grilling and hand delivering butter burgers at a local Culver’s. It was all part of Wisconsin’s “Day of Giving,” with all proceeds going to Badger Honor Flight, which according to @BadgerFootball, pays to fly vets to memorials in Washington D.C.
