An intense pair of games played out Friday during the Big Ten hockey semifinals at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena, and Saturday's championship game is now set.

No. 2 Wisconsin beat No. 3 Ohio State 2-1 in early action in the first of Friday's semifinals before a 2OT thriller unfolded between No. 4 Penn State and No. 1 Minnesota. The Nittany Lions scored deep into the second overtime for a 4-3 win over the Gophers. It was the longest game in Big Ten hockey tournament history.

The championship game will be broadcast live by BTN and BTN2Go at 8 p.m. ET.
