Saturday's Big Ten hockey tournament final is set

An intense pair of games played out Friday during the Big Ten hockey semifinals at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena, and Saturday’s championship game is now set.

No. 2 Wisconsin beat No. 3 Ohio State 2-1 in early action in the first of Friday’s semifinals before a 2OT thriller unfolded between No. 4 Penn State and No. 1 Minnesota. The Nittany Lions scored deep into the second overtime for a 4-3 win over the Gophers. It was the longest game in Big Ten hockey tournament history.

The championship game will be broadcast live by BTN and BTN2Go at 8 p.m. ET.
