Rachel Banham's No. 1 jersey has a permanent home in Williams Arena.

Minnesota retired the former star and current Connecticut Sun guard's jersey in a ceremony Sunday.

Banham, the Big Ten?s career scoring leader (3,093 points), the sixth-best total in NCAA history, is one of just 11 players in NCAA history to score 3,000 points. The 2016 Big Ten Player of the Year averaged 28.6 points per game as a senior, including a NCAA record-tying 60 points in a double-overtime win at Northwestern, and her 354 career 3-pointers are a program record. The accolades could go on and on.
