The third installment of the College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night, and the Big Ten continues to dominate the top of the poll.

If the season ended today, the Big Ten would have two playoff teams, with No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan facing off in the national semifinals.

A lot is going to change in the next three weekends, though, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.

That being said, it's time to take a look at 10 fun facts from the third CFP rankings.

1. Ohio State is the only team with two road wins vs. current top 10 teams (at Oklahoma; at Wisconsin).

2. Michigan is the only team with three wins vs. current top 10 teams (vs. Colorado; vs. Penn State; vs. Wisconsin).

3. The Big Ten looks to be on pace to become the first conference to put four teams in the New Year's Six Bowls.

4. The Big Ten's four top 10 teams – top 8, to be exact – are three more than the SEC (No. 1 Alabama).

5. Ohio State (No. 2), Wisconsin (No. 7) and Penn State (No. 8) all have their highest ranking in the three-year history the CFP rankings.

6. Ohio State has been in the top 10 of 14 consecutive CFP rankings.

7. Michigan is No. 3 for the third straight week.

8. No. 18 Nebraska is the second-lowest ranked 8-2 team, only ahead of Washington State, trailing Wisconsin, Penn State, Oklahoma, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Utah.

9. LSU made the biggest leap (+8), from No. 24 to No. 16.

10. Texas A&M suffered the biggest drop (-17), from No. 8 to No. 25.
