Through eight weeks, Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com has 10 Big Ten teams projected for bowls—one fewer than last week, as Michigan State has fallen from Palm’s projections.
Despite its upset loss at Penn State, Palm still has Ohio State in the four-team playoff but has moved the Buckeyes from a No. 3 seed to a No. 4, playing No. 1 Alabama in the Peach Bowl. Palm has No. 2 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl vs. No. 3 Washington, which moved up a spot from a No. 4 seed.
Here is where Palm has Big Ten teams slotted in bowls.
Ohio State: Peach vs. Alabama
Michigan: Rose vs. Utah
Wisconsin: Orange vs. Louisville
Nebraska: Outback vs. Florida
Minnesota: Music City vs. Ole Miss
Indiana: Foster Farms vs. Washington State
