This day in history: Jalen Watts-Jackson stuns rival Michigan

It’s Oct. 17, and that means it’s time to relive one of the most memorable recent plays in Big Ten football.

One year ago today, on Oct. 17, 2015, Michigan State stunned rival Michigan on Jalen Watts-Jackson’s dramatic walk-off touchdown at the Big House.

Michigan, Michigan State and Big Ten fans know the play well. Michigan punter Blake O’Neill mishandled the snap on a punt attempt in the closing seconds, and Watts-Jackson recovered the loose ball and returned it for the game-winning touchdown as time expired.

Making the play all the more memorable was Sean McDonough’s classic voice-cracking call of the action.

Enjoy it at the top of this post.
