Ohio State continues to impress, which is why it remains part of CBSSports.com?s Jerry Palm?s projected playoff field. But here is an alteration: Palm has 11 Big Ten teams in his bowl projections, one more than last week with Northwestern joining the party after its big win at Iowa.
Like last week, Palm has the Buckeyes seeded No. 3 in the four-team playoff, playing No. 2 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl. Palm has made a switch in his other playoff tilt, with No. 1 Alabama now taking on No. 4 Houston-not Stanford, which got hammered by Washington last week–in the Peach Bowl.
Here is where Palm has Big Ten teams slotted in the postseason:
Ohio State: Fiesta Bowl vs. Clemson
Michigan: Rose vs. Washington
Wisconsin: Orange vs. Louisville
Nebraska: Outback vs. Georgia
Michigan State: Music City vs. Florida
Indiana: Foster Farms vs. USC
Minnesota: Pinstripe vs. Pitt
