There were some interesting outcomes in Week 1. Ohio State throttled Bowling Green, 77-10; Wisconsin upset LSU, 16-14; Michigan hammered Hawaii, 63-3.

But which team had the most impressive opening salvo?

I asked some Big Ten media members.

Ryan Dunleavy, NJ.com: Ohio State. Most impressive win goes to Wisconsin, but just in case you foolishly thought Ohio State was rebuilding after its record NFL Draft haul, the Buckeyes dropped 11 touchdowns and a school-record yardage total on Bowling Green.

Pete DiPrimio, Fort Wayne News Sentinel: Ohio State. Despite its youth, it had an impressive display of offense and defense against what should be a good Bowling Green team.

Zach Heilprin, The Zone, Madison: Wisconsin. Save for a short spurt in the third quarter, Wisconsin dominated the No. 5 team in the country, especially on defense. Call LSU overrated if you want, but the Badgers showed they can make some noise in the conference season despite their brutal schedule.

Bill Rabinowitz, Columbus Dispatch: Wisconsin. With all due respect to Ohio State's and Michigan's lopsided wins, the statement win by a Big Ten team was the Badgers' over LSU. Wisconsin has a minefield of a schedule, but the Badgers are off to a good start.
