Before Draymond Green became the 2012 Big Ten Player of the Year and an NBA superstar, he gave football a try.

For one afternoon, that is.

Green played a little tight end in the 2011 Michigan State Green-White Spring Game, months before opening his award-winning senior season in East Lansing.

The results weren't pretty, so much so that Green told the media,"I like my future in basketball a little better."

Talk about an understatement. The former Spartan has developed into one of the NBA's top players, an all-around talent who already owns one Finals ring and is one win away from consecutive world championships.

So, as Green and the Warriors await another shot at closing out LeBron James and the Cavaliers for the second straight summer Thursday night, enjoy taking a look back at Green's tight end experiment.
