The Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament semifinals are set.

Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State and Michigan State advanced in Friday's quarterfinal in Indianapolis.

In the opener, No. 1 seeded Maryland eliminated No. 9 Iowa, 75-55. No. 12 Northwestern followed that with an impressive 79-73 upset victory over No. 4 Indiana, while No. 2 Ohio State cruised by No. 10 Rutgers in the third game, 73-58. No. 3 Michigan State closed out the action with a thrilling 65-64 win over No. 6 Purdue.
