The Big Ten office released its latest men's basketball players of the week Monday. See the honorees below.

Player of the Week: Denzel Valentine, Michigan State, G - 6-5 - Sr. - Lansing, Mich. - Sexton
- Averaged 28.5 points, 11.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in the Spartans? split versus nationally ranked Purdue and Indiana
- For the week, shot 50.0 percent (21-of-42) from the field and three-point range (10-of-20) and did not miss a free throw (5-of-5)
- Recorded a 7.7 assist/turnover ratio on the week with 23 assists against just three turnovers
- Scored 27 points, handed out 10 assists and pulled down eight rebounds in a one-point overtime setback at Purdue
- Poured in 30 points, dished out a career-high 13 assists and corralled five rebounds in the win over the Hoosiers
- Earns his fourth career Player of the Week honor and second in as many weeks

Freshman of the Week: Glynn Watson Jr., Nebraska, G - 6-0 - Bellwood, Ill. - St. Joseph
- Averaged 12.5 points and 1.5 steals per game in the Huskers? split versus Wisconsin and Penn State
- For the week, shot 43.5 percent (10-of-23) from the field and 50.0 percent (3-of-6) from three-point range
- Scored a team-high 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers, in the road loss versus the Badgers
- Chipped in nine points on four field goals, pulled down a pair of rebounds and swiped three steals in the win over the Nittany Lions
- Currently ranks ninth among Big Ten freshmen with 9.8 points per game and third among the group with 1.3 steals per contest
- Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
