It was a super Saturday for Michigan athletics.

The sixth-ranked Michigan hockey team took down No. 15 Penn State, 6-3, on Saturday night to clinch a sweep in the inaugural BTN Super Saturday doubleheader at Madison Square Garden.

Earlier Saturday, the Michigan men's basketball team beat Penn State, 79-72, to improve to 7-2 in the Big Ten.
