There was a trio of Big Ten men's basketball games Saturday, including Michigan topping Penn State, 79-72, in the first Super Saturday basketball-hockey doubleheader at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In other action, No. 17 Indiana held off feisty Minnesota, 74-68, behind Thomas Bryant's career-high 23 points, and No. 21 Purdue bested Nebraska, 89-74, thanks to A.J. Hammons' career-high 32 points..
