  • Iowa has won 12 consecutive Big Ten games dating back to last season, marking it?s longest streak since 1969-70 (14 straight).
  • Iowa is looking for its first 7-0 start in Big Ten play since the 1969-70 season, when the Hawkeyes went 14-0.
  • If Iowa wins, it?ll be their fifth win against a ranked opponent this season, which would be tied for the second-most in the last 20 seasons.
  • Purdue is looking to snap an eight-game road losing streak against AP Top 10 teams. The Boilermakers' last win came on Feb. 17, 2010 at then-No. 9 Ohio State.
  • Purdue?s 17-3 start is tied for its third-best start in school history. Only the 1987-88 and 1937-38 Boilers had better 20-game starts as both opened 18-2.

Also, despite being among the leaders in the standings, Purdue and Iowa combine for just one of the top scorers: Jarrod Uthoff, at No. 1
