[btn-post-package]It will be 2016 in just a couple days.

To help usher in the New Year, we're reliving some of the best in Big Ten football from a highly successful 2015 calendar year that saw Ohio State win the inaugural College Football Playoff in early January and have three teams finish the 2015 season in the top 10 of the final CFP Rankings.

Up today: Five memorable Big Ten off-field moments of 2015.

So many great moments these last 12 months, and so many of them tugged at the heartstrings.

There was Anthony Zettel consoling his family in the stands during pregame warmups hours after his father's death, and there was endless awareness for #ChadTough, the hashtag to raise awareness for the now-late Chad Carr, 5, the grandson of legendary Michigan coach Lloyd Carr who died from brain cancer after a 15-month fight, among other things.

We know these struck a chord with our viewers because the videos were passed around online more than other clips. We also received a lot of email and comments on these features.

Did we miss your favorite 2015 off-field moment? If so, please leave your submission in the comment box at the bottom of this post.
