Co-Players of the Week: Jarrod Uthoff, Iowa, F - Sr. - 6-9 - Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Jefferson

  • Averaged 29.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game versus Western Illinois and #4/2 Iowa State
  • For the week, shot 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the field, 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from three-point range and 85.7 percent (6-of-7) from the free throw line
  • Scored 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting and pulled down nine rebounds in 23 minutes of action in the 90-56 victory over Western Illinois
  • Poured in a career-high 32 points, corralled nine rebounds and tallied four blocks in the 83-82 setback at Iowa State
  • Earns his second career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Melo Trimble, Maryland, G - So. - 6-3 - Upper Marlboro, Md. - Bishop Carroll

  • Averaged 21.5 points and 3.5 assists per game in leading the Terrapins to wins over Connecticut and Maryland-Eastern Shore
  • For the week, shot 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from the field, 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from three-point range and 94.7 percent (18-of-19) from the free throw line
  • Poured in a season-high 25 points, including a 14-of-15 effort from the free throw line, and handed out three assists to go along with three rebounds versus Connecticut in the Jimmy V Classic
  • Scored 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting, including a 4-of-4 output from beyond the three-point line, and dished out four assists against just one turnover in 28 minutes of action versus Maryland-Eastern Shore
  • Earns his second career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week: Caleb Swanigan, Purdue, F - 6-9 - Fort Wayne, Ind. - Homestead

  • Averaged 15.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in leading the Boilermakers to wins over IUPUI, Howard and Youngstown State
  • Recorded his third and fourth double-doubles of the season versus IUPUI and Howard
  • Chipped in 11 points, pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds and handed out four assists against IUPUI
  • Scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, corralled 12 rebounds and dished out three assists versus Howard
  • Scored 15 points, handed out six assists and collected five rebounds against Youngstown State
  • Earns his second Freshman of the Week honor
