With its 3-1 win over Indiana on Saturday, the No. 4 Minnesota volleyball team earned the outright 2015 Big Ten Championship.

The crown marks Minnesota?s first Big Ten title since 2002 and second overall. The Golden Gophers improve to 18-2 in Big Ten play and 26-4 overall and have earned the conference?s automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.

The Golden Gophers won by a score of 25-17 in the first set, following with a 25-18 win in the second set before falling 23-25 in the third stanza. Minnesota came back in the fourth set, ultimately winning 25-16. Sarah Wilhite led the way with 18 kills, hitting at a clip of .417 followed by Daly Santana with 14 kills. Dalianliz Rosado had a match high with 20 digs.

The 2015 Big Ten volleyball season concludes this evening, with the 2015 NCAA Championship field set to be announced tomorrow. The 2015 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship selection show is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday on ESPNU.
