No. 5 Michigan State throttled Penn State, 55-16, to highlight Saturday's Big Ten action. With the win, the Spartans claim the Big Ten East crown and advance to the Big Ten title game vs. Big Ten West champ Iowa.

Ezekiel Elliott ran for 214 yards and two touchdowns to help No. 8 Ohio State rout No. 12 Michigan 42-13 Saturday. The Buckeyes (11-1, 7-1 Big Ten, No. 8 CFP) have won 11 of the last 12 games in what has become a lopsided series.

Dare Ogunbowale rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown and Wisconsin beat Minnesota for the 12th straight time, 31-21 on Saturday. Taiwan Deal rushed for 90 and two scores and Wisconsin (9-3, 6-2 Big Ten) kept Paul Bunyan's Axe.

NORTHWESTERN 24,  ILLINOIS 14: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP | NU VIDEO | ILL VIDEO
Justin Jackson rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown, and No. 17 Northwestern beat Illinois 24-14 on Saturday. Freshman Clayton Thorson threw for 146 yards and a score as Northwestern (10-2, 6-2 Big Ten, No. 16 CFP) avenged last year's 47-33 home loss to Illinois.
