Well, that was an exciting day of Big Ten football! No. 21 Northwestern edged Penn State on a late field goal and Nebraska stunned No. 7 Michigan State on a controversial call.

Jack Mitchell's 35-yard field goal with nine seconds left gave the Northwestern Wildcats a 23-21 win Saturday over the Penn State Nittany Lions. Backup quarterback Zack Oliver passed for one touchdown and ran for another, and Justin Jackson rushed for 186 yards for Northwestern.
