In honor of Halloween this Saturday, who is the scariest player in the Big Ten? I asked some esteemed and sage members of the Big Ten media corps. Read what they told me, then you tell me: Who would scare you the most among all Big Ten football players?

Brian Bennett, ESPN.com: Ohio State?s Joey Bosa. He just keeps coming and coming, like Jason Voorhees or the Terminator, and he haunts the dreams of offensive tackles like Freddy Krueger.

Mike Griffith, Mlive.com: Michigan State?s Malik McDowell is a 6-6, 285-pound destroyer. He is a Freshman All-American and the best nose tackle in the Big Ten.

Jeff Ermann, InsideMDSports.com: Ezekiel Elliott is the scariest player in the Big Ten because he's by far the biggest threat to break a defense's back at any time. And with J.T. Barrett bringing another major running threat to Ohio State's offense, Elliott is an even bigger threat to break off big plays.

Kevin Noon, BuckeyeGrove.com: I think the answer has to be J.T. Barrett and how he has changed the Ohio State offense. His presence is terrifying for opposing defensive coordinators because of his ability to run this offense at a much quicker pace, he complements Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield and stirs memories of what he was doing at the height of 2014 as he gains reps and the Buckeyes turn the page to November.

Rachel Lenzi, Toledo Blade: The "scariest" player … two players. 1, given his dominating presence in the defensive backfield, I'm going with Michigan CB Jourdan Lewis. He leads the nation in passes defended. 2, Michigan State QB Connor Cook, a player who can capitalize in key situations, particularly on third downs.

GopherHole.com: J.T. Barrett. The guy is so dangerous and similar to last year, the Buckeyes are hitting their stride as the season progresses.
