The Scarlet Knights trailed the Hoosiers, 52-27, with 5:25 left in the third quarter. To make matters worse, star wide receiver Leonte Carroo, soon after hauling in his third touchdown of the afternoon to cut the deficit to 52-33, left the game with a leg injury.

Behind three turnovers, though, Rutgers rattled off 25 unanswered points to tie the score with 6:29 remaining.

Then, after missing a pair of extra points earlier in the game, Kyle Federico kicked a 26-yard field goal as time expired to complete the improbable comeback and give Rutgers the 55-52 walk-off victory.
