The school announced the decision Wednesday, a day after a judge dismissed simple assault charges.

Coach Kyle Flood says Carroo agreed to some undisclosed conditions and "accepted the responsibility" that comes with his return to the team.

The simple assault charges were filed last month after Carroo was accused of attacking a woman he used to date and slamming her onto concrete after a 37-34 loss vs. Washington State on September 12.

A Piscataway municipal court judge dismissed the charges Tuesday night when the woman said she didn't want to testify against him. That came hours after another judge lifted a temporary restraining order filed against Carroo because the woman said she didn't think it was necessary.

In two games, Carroo has seven receptions for 181 yards and three touchdowns.
