Volleyball: Top-ranked Penn State tops No. 2 Stanford in straight sets

The No. 1-ranked Penn State volleyball team picked up a huge non-conference win on Saturday night, downing No. 2 Stanford in straight sets (25-21, 25-22, 25-18).

The Nittany Lions hit .327 (51 kills – 14 errors) behind a balanced attack, while Stanford hit .267.

Haleigh Washington, Aiyana Whitney, Ali Frantti and Megan Courtney all recorded over 10 kills for Penn State in the victory.

The Nittany Lions improve to 5-0 on the season with the impressive win.
